Description: Rene moved to Placitas in March of 2021. She purchased the Quick property, with mature fruit trees and garden beds. Previously she lived in California part time up until early 2022 using a caretaker to protect the property.

Description: The Placitas Winery sits on the western edge of the Village of Placitas and consists of a tasting room, event center, small vineyard, fruit trees, outdoor seating area with mature trees and accent plants, and plenty of parking with a 360-degree drive through (separate entrance and exit roads.
4. Shifting Moods & Views Garden

Garden Type or Features: Beautifully hardscaped large wraparound courtyard.

Description: A couple of years ago they expanded their backyard and added stone walkways, steps, a large patio, a doggy therapy swimming pool, ramada, and an outdoor fireplace. The back yard plants are primarily pruned native one-seeded juniper around which they built the hardscape. The outer and inner part of the front courtyard is landscaped strategically with a few native adapted plants such as roses, desert willow along with native pruned juniper. Joann and Scott have a beautiful collection of outdoor sculpture visible upon entering the front gate.
5. Williams Garden

Description: The front of this garden is planted with natives, and the back courtyard is planted with a variety of plants of different color and texture.

Description: Larga Vista (Long View) is an intentional garden planted to complement both the architecture of the home and its placement on a prominent Placitas ridge. Homeowners Sharon and George Arthur, who had the home designed and built, moved in and started the garden in 2018.
